Talya Knable, LCPC

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, working with adults and adolescents. With 13 years of experience, I have spent my career working to help others become the best form of themselves they can be, and I take great joy and pride in this.  I’ve spent most of my career thus far with The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt, where I provided individual and group therapy in both the inpatient and partial hospitalization programs, as well as coordinated professional and educational workshops and lectures on the topic of eating disorders and body image.  Most recently I have worked as a psychotherapist in the outpatient department, working with individuals, couples and groups. In 2018, I made the decision to go into private practice to allow myself to broaden the populations that I am working with, as well as continue my passion of outreach within the community.   With experience treating individuals with depression/anxiety, life cycle transitions, self-esteem issues, body image concerns, and relationship issues, to name a few, my goal is to help you develop positive coping skills which will allow you to better navigate whatever it is you are going through, now or in the future.
