Michal Adler, LCSW-C

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with adolescents and adults. I earned my Master’s Degree from University of Maryland School of Social Work. I have spent most of my career working at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt providing individual, family and group therapy in the inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient settings. My clinical experience includes working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns; anxiety, depression and other mood disorders; and life transitions and interpersonal issues. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, my goal is to help clients navigate challenges in their lives and achieve their goals. I enjoy partnering with clients to identify a therapeutic approach that is specific to their needs and that will support them in reaching their goals in therapy. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities in my approach with clients, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness as well as various modalities that encourage client growth and success.
